Research Interests

Study energy storage and conversion process, including battery and catalytic reactions, using novel characterization tools (optical imaging and spectrometry tools);

Study the battery reaction dynamics using in-operando optical microscope;

Develop methods for the CO2 capture, storage, and mineralization;

Hydrogen production and safety;

Sensor development for CO2 monitoring in soil and sea.
