I am excited to welcome you to the February 2016 ECE Newsletter. Professor Becker won the NSF CAREER award for his foundational work on effectively controlling swarms of robots. Professor Yao’s ARPA-E funded work on advanced battery technology was in the news. Professor Contreras-Vidal’s work at the interface of art and neurotechnology was featured at the Smithsonian, and continues to break new ground. Several faculty papers made it to journal covers.
